Life Experience is most certainly the Mother of Wisdom. However, simple Wisdom through the teacher of failure is a poor substitute for the guidance of a Younger Mind (Sometimes), grounded in Facts/Theory and most of all, Optimism.
I often wish, I would have listened to my 30 year old self, now 60.
