Sorry, I just can't let this go. '“Do I feel like the administration was not being up-front with us? Yes,” she said.' Really? She's just figuring out that the Trump administration is not honorable? Isn't he the guy who's a felon 34 times over? www.adn.com/business-eco...
Sen. Murkowski, feeling ‘cheated’ by Trump actions against wind and solar, says she’ll go to bat for Alaska projects
Murkowski won a concession in the Big, Beautiful Bill to protect tax credits for 12 months for wind and solar. But she said a recent presidential order and Interior directive undercut those plans.

Seriously, Senator? You feel cheated? Well, Alaskans feel cheated by your votes for the Big Ugly Bill, Justice Cavanaugh, and officials in Trump 2.0. Seriously, you didn't see this coming? Maybe you could have gone to bat by not having voted for the Big Ugly Bill? www.adn.com/business-eco...

Wow. Is Dan Sullivan self-delusional? If not, how can someone lie so blatantly? Be careful handling today's Anchorage Daily News...it is toxic with bullshit.

On a side note, how do we get Congress to stop ceding power to the Felon in Chief? Asking for a friend....
Opinion: Big beautiful wins for Alaska in the Big Beautiful Bill

Hmm. If cutting funds from schools is key to improving student outcomes, perhaps we should cut funds off from the governor?

What a chaos bozo. Trump puts tariffs on, then takes them off before they even take effect, then back on. The chaos makes it hard to run any kind of business. I wonder how he would’ve done in real estate in such a chaotic environment. Wait, he bankrupted four companies. I guess we know.

Mike Dunleavy, governor of Alaska for more than six years, demonstrated a unique inability to lead the state. Now he promises a fiscal plan "soon," a plan that will require hard choices? Ain't gonna happen. This from a governor whose proposed budget for next year had a $1.5 billion deficit.

Local state legislators Mike Prax, R-North Pole; Frank Tomaszewski, R-Fairbanks; and Robert Myers, R-North Pole voted no yesterday to overriding the guv's veto of the education bill.

Can we please vote these folks out of office so that we can start rebuilding Alaska's future? Please?

'Begich referred to Alaska as a “federal colony” and said the state needed to wean itself from federal funding, breaking from a longstanding tradition among members of Alaska’s federal delegation who have sought to maximize the state’s share of federal spending....'

So Begich is working against AK?

Shrubification in the Arctic is likely the cause of the dramatic decline of the Western Arctic caribou herd.

I wonder if this means the State of Alaska is going to start aerial shooting of shrubs?

Caribou herds in Arctic Alaska tundra areas are on opposite trends
The Western Arctic Caribou Herd, once the biggest in Alaska, is faltering, having fallen from a high of 490,000 animals in 2003 to only 152,000 as of 2023. But to the east, the Porcupine Caribou Herd ...
