You can then add 1/8 tsp of salt to your butter, mix well. You can simply store your butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator, or you can wrap it in parchment paper.

Continue squeezing and changing your water until the water remains clear.

This takes about 5-7 changes of water. Stores are ripping you off and charging over $10 for a block of butter, when buying heavy cream is is approximately
$2-4.

/2 Pour the buttermilk in a jar and save for baking and remove the butter from jar or bowl, You need to wash any remaining buttermilk out of your butter so it doesn’t sour. Scrape your butter into a bowl of VERY cold water. You can even use ice water if you wish.

Yes and it's ridiculous. QC has stopped using private agencies in 5 regions and expects the affected nurses and PSWs to transfer back to the public system - because it's unjustifiably expensive. But Dofo's ignoring that altogether!
