What a day!!
I’m honored that Diane Carlson Evans is included in Courageous Well-Being for Nurses. This Vietnam combat nurse led a 10 year fight for the Vietnam Women’s Memorial, saying, 'Women are also soldiers. Women also need to heal.' Today, her activism & tenacity earned her the Presidential Citizens Medal.
