The Durango School District 9-R Received a $90,000 dollar donation from the La Plata County CSU extension office. The project will consist of a 700 foot waterline, and 90 garden beds available to students and residents. An additional $125,000 is needed to complete the project. #218j2

The Durango city council meeting discussed many issues including the merger of the Durango welcome center and Durango area tourism into the city of Durango Municipal Corporation of which was voted in. Fire mitigation was also discussed, but was pushed to the next city council meeting.
