Two consecutive posts on someone’s Bluesky account. The top one, which is pinned on their profile, is an image that says “Trans Ally.” The caption of the image is “This is a safe account for the trans and non-binary community.” The next post is a screenshot from Twitter. The screenshot is made up of two tweets. The first tweet is Caitlyn Jenner thanking God for Trump being elected. The second is a reply to Jenner’s tweet being transphobic to her by deadnaming her because of the recent Executive Order that Trump put out about trans people. The person posting the Twitter screenshot onto Bluesky has captioned the image: “This is fact. Caitlyn deserves the schooling.” It boggles my mind how someone can claim to be an ally and then say that a trans woman deserves to get misgendered.
