I think if there are flashbacks to before he found the ring / early days of the ring- they can make it really interesting. Not saying it'll touch the original trilogy but there is certainly a way to do it.

Bro will do anything to not acknowledge that companies raise prices purely to get profit the second they see the opportunity - go search "games for pre order" and see that no game is charging 80$ - Including Death Stranding 2 that just came out- also from Japan- and had probably a larger budget.

You are using examples from 20 years ago and not acknowledging the current market at all - for the PS3/360- start of current gen - they were at 60$- then they went up to 70$- and thanks to a Mario Kart game it's up to $80. That's the move Nintendo made. Stop bootlicking Mario
