Quick video because he would not stay still long enough for a photo in his new digs. He's happy.

This little guy was at OC Animal Care. Seven years old, with some obvious health issues. Nasal discharge, ocular discharge, and had a swollen, enlarged testicle, so they neutered him. Unfortunately, he's still having trouble in that area. He will be seen Marc Silpac SilExotic Animal Veterinary Center, on Monday.

Hoping none of his issues are too awful. Poor little guy

He's super friendly, a bit agitated, and wants to be held and loved. Susan says he calms down as soon as you pick him up, and he snuggles right into her. How cute is that?

Friends. We went up to the property for the second time yesterday. Meeting with the FEMA investigator in hopes that we can get some help from them. Seeing the property again just proved to us how much still in
shock we truly are, because it absolutely took our breath away - the enormity of our loss and grief. How can these ashes, these broken shards of glass, these bits and pieces-some barely recognizable, some not recognizable at all -be all that is left of the lives we have created œfor ourselves over decades. . . our whole lives?

I know I have not been on social media a lot, I have not been posting many updates, and please forgive me for that. It is not that we aren't immensely humbled and grateful for your care and generosity, it's just that it's
so so difficult. So excruciatingly painful. But I wanted to post a few photos from yesterday

I also wanted to let people know that the disaster did not just go away with the incoming news cycle. We are all still here, we are lost, we are grieving, we are grappling for our lives. Thousands of us.

Kevin and I are hoping to go up again next weekend to perhaps salvage something? And hoping the rain does not make it worse than it is.

bunnies, and the rescue. Even being in the middle of this, it's hard to fathom that after all these years we have to start again with nothing.

Zooh Corner, a sanctuary for elderly & special needs rabbits, was burnt to the ground in the #EatonFire in Los Angeles. They got all the rabbits out, but have lost absolutely everything else 💔

If I ever made it to the US, The Bunny Museum was top of the list to visit.
