The highest mountain in Maine is Mt. Katahdin at 5,269 feet. It is a sacred place for the Penobscot people who revere it as the place where earth and sky meet- as the origin of the Great Spirit. It is also the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. #gelprinting #monotype #katahdin
