What is wrong with you? I was being neutral, not personal.

Enjoy you russian and Saudi oil. When the women are being whipped for talking back to their husbands, and when putin launches more drones towards innocents, just remember u support it!

Stating the production is up doesn’t address the fact it could be higher.

And if Canada is producing enough, can you explain the imports from Saudi?

Looks like we arrived at my initial point. Canada doesn’t want to pollute, so we’ll order the oil from russia and Saudi and wherever else, from dictators that kill by the hundreds of thousands, and shipped across oceans. I support domestic production.

Thats the same as telling someone they can only drive their car if it doesn’t emit CO2, or that it needs to start emitting less. The objective may be to reduce emissions, but the way it’s achieved is by disallowing driving (or production in this case). Why have cap and trade if there are no limits?

It’s all show-boating to gloat and boast about how Canadians are “leading the way”. In reality we’re the same as every other gas consuming nation, Canada just cuts its nose in spite of its face. The existing and proposed policies are just so hypocritical.

Just google it. I even will for you. www.canada.ca/en/environme...

On your chart, your error is in assuming that it represents maximum production. It does not. Canada is capable of producing much more.

Canada has production/supply bans and restricts the development of pipelines. Canadians are free to purchase and use gasoline as they see fit. Then Canada imports oil from the Middle East.
Bad policy also bears responsibility.

Considering its paramount importance, surely the valuation would be closer to $200-500B.

Sorry to hear that and I hope it no longer happens.
Unfortunately we don’t get refresher classes throughout life on which terms have evolved to become offensive. I recall learning about “third world countries” in high school, and never got the memo when it became inappropriate.

I don’t think she knew that. Why would she toss a racist slur then ask him for help? Our generation knows it’s condescending, but it wasn’t in her generation.

I think elderly people often use “boy” with endearment, highlighting the difference between the people (age). You did an act of kindness and she will let others know you did so.
You did a good thing.
