All caught up on the last of my odd jobs before the end of the year.
Kind of relieved to have a few quiet days with no obligations to worry about, to be honest. The last couple of months have been a bit of a slog. So it'll be nice to get back to just doing some things for myself for a bit.

I spent AGES this morning designing stuff for future videos. It's been a TERRIBLE year for getting anything meaningfully done, but things seem to be slotting in place to deliver some real labour-of-love style content in 2026.
I definitely get to walk away from the PC feeling tired but happy today.

I picked up a copy of the new #AlienRPG cinematic adventure 'Rapture Protocol' by Tomas Harenstam and Jonathan Hicks.

On a good day, producing an actual play show makes me feel like a legendary film maker. Things slot into place. You see all the little embellishments elevating the quality of the whole thing. The final product knits together neatly in the edit.
It makes up for the days where l feel like Ed Wood.

I've been editing in Davinci Resolve now for maybe 3 years, I think.
Gotta say, I'm always impressed by the fact that any problem I run into with an edit can usually be fixed with one of the app's built in tools. But my god, when Resolve bugs out, it's INFURIATING.
