it's a weird thing with any situation where you are given a defensive option besides blocking. you *know* mashing reversal or something like a parry comes with more risk but when it gets you killed you're thinking "I should've just been better at inputting it/guessing right"

I've also done this with pixel art before so idk why I avoided the concept so much. maybe cause I'd get this impression that one HAS to do the sketch first for the piece to come out right
