Prior to humans, nutrients were recycled and water was retained for long periods on terrestrial areas. Now, nutrients are mined and water retention is almost zilch. Both are unprecedented in the history of the planet. Water and nutrients are life. Physics and hydrology will always win in the end.

I used to think I was witnessing unadulterated nature on our homestead because I was practicing no till permaculture. Of course I was wrong. Everything that happens here has been shaped in some way by us. Thinking we're so smart we did what nature wanted. We have no clue.

Unedited nature would be a beautiful thing to witness. Too bad there's none left.

I think we can do a lot better. There's still food on store shelves, governments for the most part are still functioning, there are no "zombies"(normies) forming hoards to steal supplies they were too ignorant to stockpile etc. Let's get it together and fall apart already.
