Why did this policy just seem like he just looked at one of his aides one day and said “can I do this? Legally?” And they said “let’s just try?”
In a way this policy is the most Trump thing because it is a messy, vane change with no real consequence on real life.

If he genuinely takes a role in Trump’s government he either needs to step down as CEO or lose the contracts. SpaceX is actually pretty innovative and their president Gwen Shotwell is the badass making everything there meet Elon’s crazy schedules. SpaceX would be better 100% under her control.
