We were asked by our local librarian to go through a list of PlayStation games and recommended titles they should purchase.

It's been a really fun experience, and a good reminder that your local library is a great source for different types of media.

Decided to donate these games to them as well.

Project Timbre, is a bite-sized level-based 3D platformer that is inspired by some of the challenge levels in Super Mario Sunshine 💜

For my own game, Project Timbre, the simplistic nature of the characters' design was so I would not need to spend time unwrapping or rigging their models in order for them to still be expressive via transform, rotation, and scale distortion.

The directing choice's made by Dante in Gremlins because the animatronics were only so complex and constantly malfunctioned.

Boo's voice being a pitch difference from Bowser's due to hardware limitations.

Uploaded Steam Playtest (windows) build for review. Still new to this part of development but once that is cleared I'll submit the Mac OS and Linux versions. Hopefully will have builds reviewed for playtesting before the holidays.

*Cleaned up code version* for handling camera rotations not controlled directly by the player. Rotation values compound if the user spins the camera multiple times so I wrote a method to handle the math of finding the closest value to the degree I wished to move the camera by. #godot #gamedev

Struggled with handling camera rotations not controlled directly by the player. Main reason was rotation values compound if the user spins the camera multiple times. I wrote two methods to handle the math of finding the closest value to the degree I wished to move the camera by. #godot #gamedev

Finally got around to fixing the math for the ability to reset the camera based on where Timbre is looking. The math was bugging me for sometime, but it's a feature I really didn't want to not have.

For anyone looking for a simulated DnD like experience, I cannot recommend Destinies more. You can choose to play it as either a competitive co-op game (2-3 players) or solo. You choose a character and try to fulfill their destiny. Each campaign leads narratively into the next.

Just waiting on reviews from Steam. So close to a store page and demo time! Thanks for the continued support for me and this project. It has been surreal to connect with so many people I look up to, and hear kind words on the game I'm making.
