Yeah just think we could have been part of the EU rather than our piss poor attempt to throw in with a country that's effectively gone oil nuts.

Hows this working out?

We are the smallest most irrelevant piece on the world chess board now.

Self inflicted.

On the upside, chlorinated chicken.

I've got sick and tired at how decisive they are being on things that hit the most vulnerable in the country, they announce with confidence and state how difficult decisions need to be made, and yet procrastinate over high energy bills, excessive profits, wealth taxes, wishy washy in the extreme.

An election campaign fought on "we are different" and they are too chicken to raise tax, but "bold" enough to hit welfare, too in thrall to levy big energy, but "brave" enough to tamper with winter fuel payments, too unimaginative to speed the asylum process to where it was, yet quick to do this.

And why we will never needed Liz Truss.

As for Morgan McSweeney, this is just one reason amongst many for Starmer to look at his employment.

I feel the numerous missteps and political own goals that had plagued this government either come from or are not caught by this guy. Maybe he helped win an election but he will kill the Gov.

The GOP owned this 'till tonight, now the Dems own it.

All that pain of the shut down will now be seen as down to them holding out for nothing.

For nothing, a vote they have ZERO chance of winning and Senators like king say "I'd rather have a chance than no chance" about a thing with no chance.
November 10, 2025 at 3:12 AM
Well against all the odds, all the info they had, all the support they got in the recent elections

They STILL managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Will they win the vote promised? 0% chance
Will King Don stop laying off federal workers? Nope
Those ASA payments are going up already!
November 10, 2025 at 2:39 AM
And you know that "King Rump" has an AI vid already made for when they get the vote with the Dems licking his shoe and all manner of rubbing in how he conquered them and more of the basic humiliation stuff.

And they make it easy for him.

Sickening.

It's like knocking your vicious opponent down in the forth and then helping him up as long as he promises to go down for the count in the ninth.

Any Democrat who votes with this has no further right to ever again say the GOP are untrustworthy, crooked, corrupt, sycophants to the "king" , liars etc.

Yeah I remember the EMA, that was a good idea, the one Cameron told youngsters just prior to the 2010 election that the Tories had no plan to remove, and then promptly got rid of it.

Finances worse than expected was the excuse for their war on the poor.

Labour inherited far worse, this time.

than the ability to pick on the weakest in society.

But I guess the disabled and sick don't form angry mobs outside hotels do they?

Chicken shit politics. fuck Labour.
September 13, 2025 at 10:09 AM
They had a plan before the election, stronger border control, agreement with France on treatment of seekers, while speeding up the asylum process in the UK to get people either out or contributing tax.

Then they start dancing to the tune of Farrage, and it all goes to shit.

Principle is more...

The absolute resistance to raising revenues by taxation of the wealthy, they came to power inheriting a hidden mess, hidden debt, THERE was the justification to "bend" that fucking manifesto promise (stupid).

But no, rather than do that they slam into the sick and disabled.

Then on immigration...

I remember that.
