Sadly my lack of rhythm is matched only by my lack of athletic ability, so dancing may not be for me.

Meetup in my city seems to be mainly singles events (looking for friends not dates) and multi level marketing scams.

Library hadn't crossed my mind though, I'll walk past it morrow so I'll have a look if they have a notice board or something.

What passes for our local paper doesn't have one (it's online only now, I think). I might have to look at courses again.

I really like the book and movie club ideas, and I've looked for book clubs before, but I can't seem to find any fantasy or SF ones around me.

Didn't even know movie clubs were a thing. I sometimes wonder how much stuff is going on I just never hear about.

I was more thinking something I could rock up and do this weekend.
