What helped me get over a similar feeling was telling myself that I didn't care. When I was depressed I started joking that I was the best person ever; I obviously didn't believe it but over time it did actually improve my self image and confidence. Sometimes you just have to tell your brain "no"

I grew up with both JP and US style controllers and the US was my favorite. And as far as console shapes I may be a tad of a CUBE enjoyer so I prefer the boxier styles

I know it kinda goes against how soft ASMR is supposed to be but I do love hearing the crack from a distant shot. Not too long ago I drove by an outdoor range and heard a super satisfying crack followed by a ring from a metal target way down range.
