That’s strange… maybe you have a factory near by that works with dangerous chemicals and they just test it whenever they remember? Or they have leaks… idk

Here in Czechia, fire departments test their sirens on the first Wednesday of every month. Maybe it’s something similar?

I have a 60 Hz 1080p monitor so a gpu that could do more would have been an overkill anyway 😆 and the A750 can do that with the best graphics settings in most games so I’m not complaining. And yeah, I’d keep that rtx 3070 too, it should be good for a while yet!

Actually 12600kf but whatever. I don’t game much either but when I do, I like pretty graphics so i wanted something that can do that and wouldn’t cost an arm and leg. It was only so cheap bcs the cpu was already 3 gens old and Arc was trying to get market share, but it’s still more that good enough.

When I was building my PC, 12th gen Intel cpus and Alchemist cards were on sale as bundles for very reasonable prices, so I have a Core i5 12500kf and an Ark A750 and I couldn’t be happier. If I was set in getting a newer cpu or an AMD or god forbid Nvidia gpu it have cost a lot more 😆

Sadly, reusing old parts and buying second hand or a couple generations old is pretty much the only way to build an affordable PC now.

Ouch

And yeah, DDR5 prices are insane now. What I bought a year ago for ~100 € would now cost me ~500 €.

If you already have an AM4 motherboard, why buy a new one?

I’ll definitely take a look at this when I get home, thanks!

Oh? Is it a store, a club or an online group?

I live in central Europe. That’s why I buy so many of these book from Amazon. They print them in Poland or Germany so the shipping isn’t as expensive as it would be from the UK or god forbid North America. I ordered books from there once and the shipping was more expensive than the books lol

Thanks, but when I get to it, I’ll probably start with Heretic as you mentioned, and see where it takes me 😉

Sry for the typos, I’m not that good at typing on my phone.

It starts of as a rom-com about two awkward guys who’re trying to make a relationship work, but then to takes a serious and darker turn. Also pay attention to the content warning on that one.

I too have my Sofurry favourite - Roofles. He also has a few of his stories published on Amazon as Clay Wersal, that’s how I found him. A definite highlight for me is Socially Awkward.
