and like I get that their actions are super in character for themselves but it would be way better in my eyes if zag helped mel get to that ending and have her be the real driving force behind after meeting her brother who could have inspired her.

I also think in the ending sequence they fumbled mel pretty badly. the path was okay but it would've been appreciated if she did more of the heavy lifting in resolving that situation whereas having zagreus do that part feels like it cheapens her as a protagonist a lot

i rolled credits on hades 2 a bit ago and i let it tumble in my brain (trying to justify what I like about it) and beside some of the character interaction being kinda 'cute' it's a pretty big bummer like they fumbled it working backwards from the original concept and couldnt actually tie it up
