In 2017, I published #DossierHamer — a book (in Italian) exposing this dangerous pseudo-medicine and the distressing stories of those deceived by it. All proceeds supported Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Activists attacked the La Stampa headquarters, empty for the day due to an unrelated strike, to protest the arrest and expulsion of Imam Mohamed Shahin. This is unacceptable and does nothing for the Palestinian cause. Francesca Albanese's "warning" to journalists is equally reprehensible.

Dear UK government, Let's be clear: our mental health is getting worse, and cutting benefits won’t help. You claim mental health is being “overdiagnosed”, but where’s the evidence? The reality is that our environment affects our wellbeing - pandemics, the cost of living crisis, political unrest and ongoing concerns around climate change are all taking their toll. But when people seek help, they face months, or even years, of waiting. Rhetoric like this is dangerous. It reinforces stigma and stops people getting support. I've started a course in English Literature, and I told the professor I took a course with him ten years ago.

He replied:

I'll never understand why so many children's books are designed like this—black text on a very dark background (the phone corrects the image; it's much darker in real life). It's a huge #accessibility issue, especially since children's rooms are usually quite dark at bedtime. It's such a struggle!
