I broke my neck, ending up being disabled on Social security. I LOST MY HOME, JOB & INCOME. I LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL.

@maddow.msnbc.com Rachel I still have not received my SS direct deposit. I was suppose to receive it Friday May 2nd. I called my SS office and had to wait for a 2hour call back. At least they were open. This is my ONLY income. I m scared. I was told with all the new laws I have to wait 10 days.

I didn't choose to be disabled. I loved my job, owned my own home and made a good salary. I LOST everything!! Didn't choose to be poor.

I worked for the state for Early Intervention for Children with Autism. I was driving when a deer jumped a guard rail on top of my car and through my windshield. I ended up with a broken neck leaving me disabled. I live below the poverty line. DO NOT MESS WITH MY MEDICARE AND SSI & SNAP.
