At risk of alienating you by quoting Ren:
'...I'm pained, it's a crying shame
The pursuit of our own wealth lights a flame
That makes greed a game that lets the whole world burn
As the world turns, the whole world burns...'
(Money Games 1-3 are all excellent on capitalism.)

I'd say to contact people who do independent music videos. They pump out incredible-quality videos for pennies.
A bit late for this run, but maybe the next?
(e.g. Hi Ren - which has had over 41m views - has immaculate sound and great pics. Btw, I hope you've seen it? It's BRILLIANT.)

'Shopping trolley/cart theory.'
About returning your trolley back to a designated area.
Fewer people do when they don't think they're being observed, or when there's no penalty. It's a test of character. Quite interesting.

And they DO need light shone on their representatives and policies, if only to weed out some of the more problematic issues, to make them more robust for the future.

Another example of effective cancellation by the media:

The Green Party.

For subsequent elections, they have been denied entrance to debates in favour of RW parties such as R*form & UK*P.

No platform > no media coverage > no increase in awareness.

No media coverage means no pressure on politicians.

No pressure on politicians means no prospect of change.

No media coverage also means decreased awareness of the issues, less outrage to create the desire for change, and protest fatigue.

Why bother when you're getting nowhere?
November 20, 2024 at 3:28 PM
Cancellation is used by the media all the time.

Thousands turn out for some protest? They won't be mentioned on the news unless the issue conforms to the current narrative.

Inversely, a few disagreeable souls get theirs covered because it'll create more headlines.

They purposely confound criticism with cancellation.

If someone/something is still heard, they aren't cancelled.

If you completely ignore them, & their platform is taken away and exposure reduced (a la Alex Jones), that's true cancellation.

I block. I refuse to give them oxygen of publicity.

It's related to the shopping trolley studies, isn't it?

I was going to ask the same - recovering from an ankle op so couldn't make it to Shrewsbury, and I'd still love to see it. If you have a YT channel, you could do a paid members thing to cover costs?

Or, maybe, all of @renmakesmusic.bsky.social 's current posts on all platforms are AI generated?
