The government's plans to introduce digital ID cards will inevitably make migrants' lives harder and more dangerous, creating new barriers to healthcare and safe housing.

We’ll be watching this policy closely and will continue to fight to protect everyone’s access to NHS care.

For years, migrants, refugees & racialised communities have faced racist rhetoric. This weekend, that hostility spilled onto the streets in full force.

The fear targeted communities must be feeling needs to be recognised. We stand with them against hate.

The '1-in1-out' plan, just like the failed Rwanda plan, is an attack on the human right to seek asylum. It must be stopped.
We cannot punish survivors of torture and trafficking for how they arrived in the UK while denying them any safe alternative.

Warehouses are not homes. Military sites are not safe ❌

We've run clinics at military sites and seen the harm they cause. Forcing people seeking safety into them is inhumane. The Government must clear the asylum backlog and house people in communities to rebuild their lives safely.
