The problem was to devise a walk through the city that would cross each of those bridges once and only once. The problem has no solution.

it/its
ever since educative tried to headhunt us to write a rust course for them they've been sending us spam emails and i'm too tired to unsubscribe

it is worth noting that i do not have $3500
i would love to get a sharper lens but i do not want to be carrying more than one lens with me so which necessitates something ~versatile and means if i *want* something sharper than this tamron zoom lens my options are either 'spend $3500' or 'kill myself'

favourite photography account from twitter isn't on this site seemingly

photography is really nice. guitar is really nice. reading is really nice. the world is endlessly, meaninglessly cruel, and i may want to reach into the concept thereof and tear out whatever grey thing it is that makes everything rot with my own hands, but art is really nice

this is almost like if there was an entire genre attempting to emulate dark souls but they're all obsessed with the "combat" side of dark souls instead of the exploration/adventure- ah wait fuck.

first image here is way softer than i would've liked but considering it was actively swinging in the wind i'm fairly happy.. we were a bit iffy on mirrorless cameras at one point but the difference in previewing alone is extremely worth it. shame about the battery life but
went for a walk

'life' is a period situated between two poles of absolute, unknowable oblivion in which you attempt to create 'music' and 'art' and only occasionally accidentally wander directly into the void after seeing something you shouldn't have

i've been reading zaregoto the last few days and enjoying it. a lot of it's very familiar in a way it really probably shouldn't be

before anybody asks the reasoning for the current layout is very straightforward: i am fascinated by impossible problems. they are friends of mine

the other account can be for pretending, but i vehemently refuse the notion that it will be my only face. i'm nothing moving in nothing

i can tell none of these relationships are sustainable and someday i will probably lose patience but that day is not today. i will be calm and measured because i am required to be calm and measured. it's very straightforward

it's really incredible how some ostensible communists/progressives will play disco elysium and (rightfully!) deride the moralintern while actively behaving the same way. only a pretense of harm reduction, and zero politics beyond the disgust response. it disappoints me a lot, if i'm being frank

very tangled relationship with this site really. wanting to keep up with a few others that we simultaneously don't trust to be normal about our plurality leads us to this awful pattern of ambient repression and avoidance that makes actually using it feel like asphyxiating

if your entire worldview is predicated on the disgust response with zero desire to ever seek understanding of anything i do probably hate you a little bit unfortunately

it's really annoying that all our best writing happens when the letters on the keyboard are trying to rearrange themselves into bookcases because i would prefer being able to do it consistently
