Nintendo simply wanted Sonic not overlapping with Mario and vice versa. They wanted both renders to be shown in full so they can both look good

Because not only are scenes deleted from the 4kids version, but even full fledged EPISODES causing arcs to make zero sense or resolve too quickly. Not only that, but a TON of scenes with vector are cut in the 4kids version due to “appearing too scary” such as this.

They think kids can’t read so they took all text, including English text out and replaced it with a blurry mess, making jokes not appear to make any sense in the 4kids version, such as Sonic holding a sign with zero text
