The Historic Julia Winslow House, 8393 Finley Avenue, La Mesa, CA. 1,350 SF, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Built in 1907 by John E. Hurlburt, an important early pioneer house builder in La Mesa. Hurlburt married Jesse Winslow, the daughter of Julia Winslow, and built this house for his mother-in-law.

We have big rain drops and hail out here in the East San Diego County boondocks. Little Queen Olivia does not like the pounding on the skylights, so she has is seeking comfort and shelter here in the office.

My pictures of the Moreton Bay Fig (Ficus macrophylla) in San Diego's Balboa Park. 115 years old. In 1998, measured 78 ft tall, crown spread of 125 ft, trunk girth of 41 ft. It is the second largest Moreton Bay Fig in the world. The largest is in Santa Barbara, California.
