I teach French and Spanish at MS and HS. I get my class's attention with codes or callings: French Teacher (Vous y êtes?), Students (Nous y sommes), Spanish Teacher (Cascada), students (shhhhhh). Also, keeping students engaged in short and connected tasks keeps them focused.
