Another @camraofficial.bsky.social update from Instagram regarding the impact of the #budget Business Rates proposal on pubs and the wider hospitality sector

In leu of neither SIBA or @camraofficial.bsky.social being active in here, I thought I'd share a post from Camra explaining its position on today's budget in relation to the brewing and hospitality sectors. Take away, Reeves has hammered both again (with the exception of Business Rates reduction).

We had a lovely couple of hours at the peaceful and serene @victoriagallery.bsky.social to see the new (and excellent) Toxteth: The Harlem of Europe exhibition and enjoy the permanent collections. The free life drawing class added to chilled vibes. A must visit if you have a few hours to spare

The John Candy documentary on Amazon Prime (boooo) is an exceptional film, which throws a lot of light on the great man. Lots of heart felt interviews from his co stars, family, mates, and so much archive footage. A must watch for any Candy fans

Beware of the origins of fruit and veg produce in shops like Marks and Spencers, where they are selling Israeli grown spuds. We all should be doing our part to send the regime a message that we don't support their murderous campaign in Palestine

Extraordinary places.
Farleton Knott, outside Carnforth, South Lakes. Natural limestone steps, a huge stone wall and unreal 360 degree views of England's most beautiful landscape. Also a local farm close by selling unpasteurised milk, cheese and free range eggs.
