Exchange/Microsoft365 account support built into Thunderbird now!

Thunderbird users have asked us for this for years and now it is here. Enjoy.

For nerds: the architecture built for this opens the door for JMAP support.

When you email issues to Obsidian Entertainment (the video game company) their AI support hallucinates and tells you to email Obsidian (the note-taking company) instead.

If the reward function is to reduce the number of touches in a support ticket, this is one way to do it.

Google won’t be forced to sell its Chrome browser and can keep paying companies to keep its search engine as the default on smartphones, thanks to a federal ruling.

In other words? Google gets to remain a monopoly and keep its harmful, anti-competitive practices.

Shameful.

Fascinating cross-border impact of the UK’s censorious laws.

I’m really glad we rolled out TLS and built for an untrusted network over the past decade, given how much traffic will have to start flowing over commercial VPNs.
FYI I don't have access to DMs on here while traveling bc my carrier switches to a UK one while roaming (?), and accessing DMs on here requires uploading my ID to an age verification service ... so I get locked out of messaging on this app due to temporarily having a UK IP address.
