My guess is that the indigenous people are done dealing with the crap that has been doled out to them over the centuries. Any policy that attempts to ignore them is going to get serious push back. I think the courts will have their backs as well which is a welcome change from the past.

I definitely like that proposal. I’d go after all of his and his family’s ill gotten wealth and distribute out to the groups and individuals he and his minions have harmed. I wouldn’t leave him with a wooden nickel.

Cuellar should have already lost his committee position - so that would be an easy one to remove. For the others ensure that they don’t have any party support in the primaries and look to support more progressive members in those campaigns.

Retaking the House is not going to be perilous or uncertain next year. However it certainly won’t increase support for the party by refusing to do everything to protect a vulnerable minority group.
There’s no upside for the Democrats if they fail to punish these inexcusable representatives.
