So comforting to see a Supreme Court that still holds the rule of law as its North Star

I'm old enough to remember when local bookstores were the only casualties of the Amazon business model. @bookshop.org has been leading the fight to protect local bookstores. Let's do our part to join their efforts. manage.kmail-lists.com/subscription...

Interesting. (Though, far less “stunning” if y-axis started at zero, as it should). #dataviz

Sadly, it won't be possible to undo much of the damage inflicted.

I've struggled for years to spell the musical Sarah's last name, but I KNOW it's tricky, so I ALWAYS double check. How does a headline writer not check that?! Our media are so disappointing sometimes.

New Census 2024 income data show a mixed picture for families of color. Asian & Hispanic families saw their median income rise. But Black families experienced a fall. Typical Black & Hispanic households continue to earn just a fraction of their white peers' income. #EconSky #NumbersDay

Also, definitely not urgent that I be reunited with my pens. I have several, including one that I always keep black ink in, and one that is a "wildcard" pen, that currently has a dark red ink. There's also a non-zero chance that I'll make it up for Thanksgiving....

There's also a good chance that Nich will pass through Kingston a time or two over the next couple of months. (Though that doesn't sound like a good recipe for ensuring the Cheezies make it safely to me! 😉)

[email protected], I agree with just about everything you have to say on here, though I take exception to the possibility that there is such a thing as "too many bicycles". (For the record, I am of the belief that there is also no such thing as "too many cameras"). 😉

Thank-you for this lovely post. I am firmly of the belief that the full-moon phase gets a much higher share of our collective attention than it merits. #AllPhasesMatter

Pro tip for you. If applying for honoUrary Canadian status, don't let weird spelling differences bounce your application to the bottom of the pile.
