Housing, walk bike transit, Portland Ore
Thanks. From google street view, looks like it was operational as late as May 2023, so within the 3-year limit.

Worth looking into the permitting process for that N Portland Starbucks! Location?

Other issues aside, it seems unwise to locate a new, higher capacity drive-thru (with,THREE entry lanes that cross the Division Street sidewalk), across the street from an elementary school, creating a potentially dangerous situation, plus across from a high school, with new drivers in the mix!

Can you "landmark" a spinning sign? "Not the building, just the sign". the Palms Motor Hotel on N Interstate is an example of sign-only, I think.

The loaf should feel heavier, as if it's a task to turn it around, at a slow speed!

And I'm sad about the spinning milk carton that used to be at NE 20th and Pacific! (removed when they demolished that dairy for the large residential building) Last I saw it was across the street, lying on it's side next to the pot dispensary.

A friend of mine (in LA) opined that it was spinning too fast! I tend to agree. Before the rebuild, it was at a more sedate rate. Has it stopped?

Tie it with string? A tiny zip-tie?

That comment was one of two on NextDoor, which now seems to have no geographic limits, so could be from anywhere.

Build an ADA ramp, which would need switchbacks, and also a bike and walking ramp at whatever grade a straight path results in?

The 4-unit version is legal in R-2.5 thru R-7. E.g. 1820 SE 37th, just finished, 2 blocks S of Bagdad Theater. A lot of these 4- and 6's built recently between 20th and 50th, from Powell south to Holgate, approx. Now, 4's infiltrating the IE4A territory. I worry they'll snap up the cheapest lots!

I remember this, and (I think) watching the coverage on TV. Quite a shocking event for a 12-year
