You’ve pointed this out before and as usual you are spot on.

Yes, the typical healing time is 6-8 weeks. And of course every time it pops out will make reoccurrences more frequent. If Kisenosato didn’t learn from his own Yokozuna mistake then what is the point?

It’s hard to know. I’m guessing the opposite though: I expect a kyujo minutes before the deadline to enter Hatsu.

Wow, that is a dispiriting remark.

Thanks. I really enjoy Strong as an actor and have never seen any version of Oedipus live so I’ll try to catch it.

Is it worth seeing?

Even prettier than The Polar Express.

I’m not so sure about that: it’s evident from every photo of Gehrig before his illness took over that he had the build of a Greek god.

How the oyakata convince parents to let them have their youngsters is beyond me.

Heh. Yet another example of erasing Hakuho, alas.

Based on the Twins current roster he might be able to make the team.

Well, it is the word of the year….

I’d bet he’s been dealing with those back issues for quite some time. I’d bet he’s won’t miss a day at Hatsu. He can’t keep going forever, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in Makuuchi at 42.

Watching the West Wing now seems like rubbing salt in a wound.

Sumo’s “good guy”? Wasn’t his year long suspension because he was anything but? Still, since his first comeback I’ve admired his sumo and dedication. Unfortunately his first two acts didn’t end happily and I doubt the third one will either.

The colors look like they belong in a Hiroshige woodblock.

I guess, although Kent getting in and Bonds not getting in seems crazy. We know Bonds took steroids, but it’s also hard to explain how Kent was a significantly better hitter after 30 than before without using the word steroids.

Maybe FIFA will print one up for him.

I don’t recall any reported injury. Hiradoumi was just off, including losing a number of bouts he could have won. He should rebound in January when he is much lower on the banzuke.

Im not sure the Giants could get a victory in an intersquad game.

Just hope that Moreno doesn’t sign any of them to a long-term contract.

In the real basho Hoshoryu holds a 10-1 edge.

It doesn’t quite wash away the memories of his 4-11 in Kyushu though,

As you know, when a President’s approval ratings go into the crapper he tends to make more trips overseas. Abe certainly schooled her in how to flatter Trump, so a return visit wouldn’t surprise me.

It probably depends on the ozeki. I think Takakeisho felt an intense amount of pressure throughout his ozeki career, but for most of them I think you are spot on.
