On paper, Iowa are the better team. I’m going with Rutgers primarily because they’re hosting a Friday night game, which is a major disadvantage to a visiting team, esp one that has to travel 1,000 miles to play for a boisterous northern New Jersey crowd.. Give me the Knights and the points. 10/x

...although playing Albany and UMass, maybe passing is an afterthought. Rutgers haven’t had any impressive wins in OOC play, although the Ohio team that they only beat by a 4th quarter field goal, is a decent team and a strong candidate for defending their MAC championship. 9/x

Iowa (-2.5) at Rutgers, Hawkeyes lead rusher Xavier Williams is out for a few weeks with an arm injury. Rutgers has shown they’re vulnerable to the run this season, which is likely Iowa’s game plan, given they’ve managed only 120 passing yards per game... 8/x

Quick edits to 3/x, It's Tulsa at Oklahoma State -11 points. 7/x

I would’ve preferred this one with the opening 14.5 spread but see Tulsa as a sneaky underdog looking for redemption against an in-state opponent, an hour and ten minutes away. Give me the Golden Hurricane + the points. 6/x

The Hurricane are just inside top quartile for team sacks per game. Tulsa covered spread by 18.5 vs. Abilene Christian, and missed by 10.5 at New Mexico State and 5 versus Navy.
The Cowboys beat Tulsa on road 35-10 last year but have a completely different team on both sides of the ball. 5/x

New QB soph Zane Flores has had a rough start, giving up 2 INTs per game, including two pick-6's against Oregon. OSU’s D, a major problem area last year, gave up 312 rushing yards during the loss to Oregon. Although Tulsa was a mess last year, they're just shy of top quartile for team TFL/game 4/x

With that, let's talk college 🏈. Tulsa at Oklahoma, OSU are coming off a week’s rest but missed spread by 5.5 versus UT Martin in Week 1 and by 37.5 at Oregon during Week 2, managing only a field goal in a 69-3 loss. The Pokes replaced all 11 on offense this season and have an unproven QB. 3/x

My picks are always against the spread. I primarily pick underdog games, as my goal is to beat Vegas. No, I'm not always successful but sometimes I am. I don't hate your team. It's OK to disagree with me but if you're a jack*ss, I'll block you quickly. 2/ x
