Right – the fine print. We need heat pumps that are much quieter, much more reliable, and much cheaper. Give the military/industrial complex some new jobs. Mil-spec heat pumps paid for by the defense budget! 😁

A perfect metaphor: a constitutional convention, and a billion heat pump installs. We can do this!😊

Maybe we can we bill him for the billions it will cost to disinfect the government's computers?

My favorite part of this video is where they cut down the trees and all the parrots die. 😶

It's plausible that a nuclear war could turn Earth into another Venus. That's what keeps me awake at night.

I don't support the bombing of anyone by anyone. And when my tax dollars pay for the bombs, the blood is on my hands. I will not pretend otherwise. I cannot raise a glass with these bloodied hands.

My surname is Ukrainian Jewish, and I used to be proud of my heritage. Anti-Semitism is pathologically absurd, but Zionism is worse. I pray that we all abandon our religions and try to love God.

Would you think differently if the bombs were dropping on you?

This may have seemed like fear-mongering a year ago, but now it's just reporting the news. Corporations are newly compliant, and "emergency situations" has a new meaning.

"Trump recently declared a national economic emergency under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA)..."

It's gone way beyond privacy at this point; Mr. Roboto can now access all this data, up to and including your DNA. He can also remotely disable your car. Recommend you not drive to the demonstration. 😐

The subscription model is annoying, but the surveillance model is what really bothers me. There's no opt-out, and apparently every manufacturer is doing it. Locking you into a subscription means they get all the data, and might make another $15/mo. selling it. The Slate truck looks interesting...

OK, you ruined my day. I'd been hearing about plant-based insulation for awhile, and assumed carmakers had gotten the memo. Wiring should taste really bad, or be shielded. We did try talking with the rats, but they're saying this is on us.

When you're moving fast and breaking things, that's not incompetence; it's malicious greed.

a) Individuality doesn't actually exist. b) They are very telepathic. c) They spend a lot of time together. d) Some combination of the above.

Did anybody want to answer my question? 😖

Market manipulation the likes of which we've never seen.

We could get into nuts and bolts – all water evaporates, turning Earth into another Venus – but such discussions miss the point: We humans are, at this moment, deciding whether to exterminate ourselves. Personally, I think we shouldn't.

A handful of men hold our fates in their hands – and they all appear to be psychopaths. 🙁

A full-fledged nuclear war might in fact *permanently* eradicate all biological life on earth. That Zuckerberg thinks a bunker will save him is profound idiocy.

That would be black-and-white thinking. We're talking about stories within stories within stories. Where do we even begin? The Roman Empire? Indigenous Americans? The Bill of Rights? The Civil War? I'll readily admit it makes my head spin.

$30,000 plus airfare per slave, if you're wondering.
