During my recent trip into eastern Ontario, I had a little time to squeeze in some hiking, so I took a couple of shorter hikes to lookouts in Calabogie, Ontario (I totally want to call it Calaboogie). So I put on my boogie shoes and hiked up to the Eagle's Nest Lookout on Manitou Mountain.

During my recent trip to Oregon, I stopped at Horsetail Falls along the Columbia River Gorge Highway. Named for its resemblance, to, well, a horse's tail, this 176-foot-tall waterfall is right off the road, making for a nice quick stop with different angles in which to see the waterfall.

With the new Pope hailing from Chicago, I assume that putting ketchup on a hot dog or sausage is now a sin instead of just being poor etiquette. Off to confession I go...
