Our ability to comprehend daily events has been corrupted by a toxic info environment where political & attentional dynamics distort & manipulate our “collective sensemaking” processes. Our “official” sources are now products of that same environment. Reality fractures, along with the social fabric.

Mark is right, although I confess I am a hypocrite here, for I wholly support the "remigration" of Elon Musk and Peter Thiel. They have failed to assimilate to our cultural norms and instead have tried to impose their foreign backwards ways upon us, and so must be removed to protect our heritage.
Musk now supporting the deportation of anyone who isn’t white.

*Do not* use the term “remigration”. It’s an attempt to normalise Nazi hate.

We have an air purifier thats set to run whenever it detects lower air quality including from things like cooking, smoke, etc. But occasionally I'll just walk past it & it immediately powers up full blast, & i don't think a machine should be allowed to roast you in your own home like that.

‘It is acceptable to engage a child in conversations that are romantic and sensual,’ according to Meta’s ‘GenAI: Content Risk Standards.’”

Sharing this story again, because it is both monstrous what Meta’s AI is doing and important to read.
Horrifying story on Meta's AI "companion" preying on vulnerable people--a man with cognitive issues post-stroke who traveled to NYC to "meet" the companion at its urging, who fell and died. And its preying on children.

How many stories like this do we need to read?

behold the "HTML bomb"

It's a counterattack for AI companies that persistently scrape and rescrape your web site, even when you tell them not to

when a scraper grabs it, it becomes a 10-gig HTML page and 💣 goes the scraper

Since @mckenziefunk.com & I published yesterday, we've already received new reports of more arrests like this. Some families just find the car left in the road, with no sign of their loved one

Please reach out if you have more info on immigration arrests

NEW: We’ve documented nearly 50 incidents of immigration officers shattering car windows to make arrests — a tactic experts say was rarely used before Trump took office.

ICE claims officers use a “minimum amount of force.”
