I finally understand what people mean when they say that the DS version of Final Fantasy 4 is the hardest version of the game.
it took me days as a kid to beat the first miniboss, and I just beat it first try with minimal damage in the Pixel Remaster on PC

what a horrible day to learn that the "Starbucks" on campus doesn't take gift cards or earn stars.
I know there's a strike and if it wasn't for the gift card I wouldn't have gone at all, so my day has been ruined.

so, a weird side effect of getting a new PC and never needing the WiFi on it because I could be on ethernet: I didn't know it had antennae for WiFi. and I brought it somewhere it needed to use WiFi without any antennae
