Sharing this for #InternationalMensDay because, when I was going through my own struggles with mental health and acceptance, all I was met with was discrimination, abuse and shame for not sucking it up. Bottling up my feelings and emotions only caused more problems later on down the road

Don't be ashamed to MENtion it, if you feel that you can't manage, please talk about your feelings, rather than soldiering on and trying to silently cover the damage. Open up, don't MAN up. Save eachother and save yourself. MEN are only humans too. And need to be honest about their mental health.

Yo, so I actually went on a date tonight. And, for the first time in a long time, I wasn’t treated as an experiment, wasn’t judged on my appearance, and wasn’t used as someone’s ATM. Plus, they’re interested in going out again. Words cannot describe how happy I am right now
