From my experience on cruise ships, the vast majority of crew working hospitality are from the Philippines. There’s no reason they would’ve been familiar with the history of the KKK in America.

Saint John definitely has something special. St. John’s is rugged and charming AF. But I ended up, unexpectedly, living in Quebec City during Covid and it was incredible. The geography. The culture. Even with the cold, I could see myself living my final years there.
