The feral #cat that I have been feeding for the past ~9 months has turned friendly! Pets are wanted, headbutts given, and she even let me pick her up. Cautiously exploring the entrance of the house, taking baby steps.

I know it's not much a mod, but yes you can swap the PS buttons over to the PDP BFG hall effect modules. There's just four small Phillips screws holding the back of the module on, and then just swap the entire top plate with the buttons from the original.
I may put the black D-pad back on.
