Lifelong Spurs fan, COYS, so mainly here for that, love football and most other sports especially GAA and trying to learn about NFL.
How VAR haven’t overturned that is incredible, it’s a definite pen.

Myself and my son just saying the very same thing. It’s how you get the crowd involved and on your side as well.

Hard not to agree with this, I’ve done my utmost to try and move on, have supported Frank and will still do but I just don’t understand the point of sacking Ange. For what ?, this ??There’s no improvement on what Ange did and we’re going backwards, very disappointing so far.

Only just seen this now but completely agree. Conveniently forgotten by a lot of people.

And you could have just left it at “we never will”.
We’ll agree to disagree on the next bit though.
December 17, 2025 at 10:05 PM
Maybe that was coming, who knows ?.

I’ve been over to two games so far, Villareal and Fulham, what struck me in both was how slow our play was and how little movement there was. We told ourselves it was early days at the Villareal game and at least we won, but the concern was there.

Obviously results are important but what people are actually watching is just as important really. To an extent you’ll get away with poor football if results are good but if they’re not then there’s absolutely nothing there.
December 17, 2025 at 1:13 PM
There’s no quick fix and there’s plenty of issues but we should still be playing better football than we are at the moment, even if results were similar the football should still be better.

Yeah, I just thought that regardless of the opposition there were some positive signs but feel very deflated after today.

I also believe that players should and often do have licence to do this within a tactical and game plan framework.
December 3, 2025 at 11:19 AM
I think sometimes people mistake players reacting to game state and a situation that may occur with disobeying instructions. Romero decided to stay up after the corner because we were 1 down and still had possession not because he was going against any instruction.

Even Jamie Carragher, who has no love for Spurs, disagreed with it.

I just posted this in a different thread.

He holds him at the start and then lets go, his arms are outstretched the whole time and Burn is doing as much holding and forcing his head down. It’s an absolutely disgraceful decision.
December 2, 2025 at 11:24 PM
It won’t be though, doubt you’ll see one given again.
December 2, 2025 at 11:21 PM
I’m still annoyed about the decision, Romero was excellent at both ends of the pitch. You’re going to have to battle and fight at places like St. James’s but we have to be better with the ball.

Sorry to hear that, you’ve beaten it once you can do it again, sending all best wishes your way.

The 2.05 games are all on Sky so just guessing but is it to avoid any clash with the Palace v Utd game which has just finished and was on TNT ?
November 30, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I was thinking that a lot of it might have been the frustrations of other home performances and being 2 down in 6 minutes, people taking it out on Vicario. It was wrong anyway. I understand the frustrations from people who go regularly but getting on the player’s backs isn’t helpful.
November 30, 2025 at 1:24 PM
I was in the South stand and while there wasn’t anyone booing around us it did seem to come from there. There was booing twice when he had the ball after the goal and a sarcastic cheer when he cleared out for a throw, seemed to calm down after that. Thought it was disgraceful.

They do, normally when games get postponed they end up as part of the game week when they’re played, usually later in the season. Not sure if there’s official double game weeks.
November 28, 2025 at 1:17 PM
No, they’re separate game weeks.
