Happy Easter from Doylestown Historical Society! Preparation from neighborhood children for the annual "Egg Hunt" organized by the American Legion, Post 210, on the grounds of Fonthill. The "eggs" were placed inside small paper bags that were spread on the lawn.

In the early morning hours Thursday morning, a fire started in the display room addition. We are grateful to the fast response of Doylestown Fire Co. along with other volunteer fire teams in the region. Their work helped save a lot of irreplaceable historical artifacts and records.

A fantastic turnout to celebrate the premiere of our latest Video History Series: Lynne Anne Donchez. Great food, and a hat show followed! Visit our house for an exhibit on hats, many provided by Lynne Anne. Thank you to Lynne Anne and everyone who attended, cooked, and made for a great event!
