#January is a time of renewal and change, and if you’re looking to start the new year off positively, why not attend our January workshop and be intentional with your connections to the season’s beauty. ☃️

We know it can be difficult to know what to gift people living with #dementia, that’s why we have created two different handy guides of dementia-friendly #reminiscence activities, sensory products and decorative gifts for this Christmas! See Newsletter 44 for our alternative Christmas gift guide. ❄️

Learners will be given an overview of how to deliver Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). #CST is a brief evidence-based group treatment for people with #dementia. This interactive course will include a background about CST and how it can be used in a practical setting.

UK #Dementia Congress brings together experts with lived experience, professionals and practitioners across health, social care, housing, the arts and culture. Keynote speakers include @andyburnham.bsky.social , Mayor of Greater Manchester, and Professor John Keady, University of Manchester.

These webinars can be attended by learners who would like to access this learning opportunity as stand-alone workshops and also by those who would like to undertake the Level 2 ‘Award in Awareness of Dementia’ #OCNLR qualification.

During this workshop you will #paint an #abstract painting by using pencil and #watercolours to paint an abstract picture supplied using bright vibrant #colours. You will see examples and have a tutorial with group class discussion and feedback.
