Teaching an Ecohydrology field course focused on soils here starting in March, so need to get some soil pits characterized beforehand 😅 NCSS only has 4 pits in the Umatilla Mtns I think

That’s actually intact bedrock, just has some of the clay rich soil stuck to it below.

We do have good E horizons out there just not in these two pits.
