Where we came from, and where we may be heading.

I post about technology, innovation, space, earth observation, heritage, and bread. MBA (Tech Mgmt) from Open University.
How does climate and environment indirectly mediate disease resistance ? Are there any other good papers on the subject ?

What data/evidence would be required to explore Neanderthal / AMH pathogens during late Pleistocene, say 60-35 ka ?

IMO, improved paleogeography models to understand mobility.

Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, backed by Michael Bloomberg, & others, have invested in KoBold Metals - an exploration company - via their Breakthrough Energy Ventures Fund.

Isn't Trump just late to the party ? Wanting to use US federal resources / military power to achieve something he didn't do himself ?

Says more about Trump's security guarantees, and his willingness to operate as part of NATO.

Europe should plan for a multipolar world.

And develop contingency plans for US administration taking Greenland by force. Would certainly cause collapse of NATO. Start a trade war. A gift for 🇨🇳 and 🇷🇺.

Article says that during the Bronze Age the main source of tin came from alluvial sources. That too can be explored via the @bgs.ac.uk Tellus South West data.

Though what this won't show in tin in former estuaries now underwater due to Holocene sea level rise.

What happens when you have a lot of 🇨🇦 ice melt ?

Glacial rebound.

And even sometimes river piracy and catchment reorganisation. Meltwater from the Kaskawulsh Glacier now flows S to Pacific Ocean.
