I got gate checked by Southwest Airlines just now. There was still room in the overhead bins when I boarded. I'm really annoyed.

There should be laws against selling more seats then there is overhead space. If you can only fit so many carry on bags that is the capacity of your airplane.

In a nice change of pace I was able to make the 566 towards Auburn today. It arrived less then 10 minutes after the previous very late 566 so now I am the only person on the bus departing Renton TC.

I need to stop taking the 550 bus. Every time I see the rails on the I-90 bridge I get heartache.

I've lived in Seattle for a long time, but this is my first time on one of the Sound Transit Double Decker buses. I have the entire top of the bus to myself right now and I'm pleased as punch.

Went to the hospital today, I'm ok, but the post visit thing where I have had to call 3 separate pharmacies and the hospital multiple times really has me ticked off.

The Boycott War Profiteers Campaign I've been helping with for the past year is now on Blue Sky. Give them a follow if you are in the Seattle area and want to take action for Palestine. @boycottwar.bsky.social
PCC, the largest food co-op in the US, sells wine from Barkan and Golan Heights Winery, both of which source grapes from the occupied Golan Heights.

PCC also stocks products from Nestle, which runs factories in illegal settlements in the West Bank through its subsidiary Osem.

Something I was up to yesterday. A busy day in Olympia with the reading of the Ayşenur Eygi resolution and WEA-led protests.

I decided to attend a WA Dept. of Ecology Webinar for the Washington Climate Partnership and some yokal from Battleground, WA was complaining about light rail on the Columbia River Crossing and how much faster heavy rail is.

I wonder if I am seeing fewer April Fools Jokes this year because we are living in an April Fools reality.

Haha it took me a week to notice this. I guess this is their last ditch effort to chuck leftist off the platform.

Looking at @governorferguson.bsky.social budget made me so mad. One particular annoyance is him trying to cut the whole port noise mitigation fund. Which is a direct attack on the immigrant communities that live near SeaTac and which have been organizing to stop the airport explanation.

Today was my best day in at least a year, things just seemed to come together perfectly. It was great to see people from the Rachel Corrie Foundation and Seattle DSA at the Washington for Peace and Justice Lobby day. Followed by a very productive visit to the Olympia DSA general meeting.

I'm so proud of Seattle for passing Prop 1A! The @seattledsa.bsky.social party was rocking!

Real political science hours here. This is the goal of the Trump administration and any person in power who doesn't fight it is complicit.
Tis an autogolpe.

No military, no change in who governs, just pure usurpation

I woke up to the thought of a pun that would be good for a headline and now I'm outlining the article it would go with.

I wonder if city workers in Seattle are more progressive then the city's voters overall?

It took me years to pass 100 followers on twitter, now here I am after a month and half.

I need to get back to policy posting more regularly and I'm looking forward to everyone joining me on that journey.

Normally I'm not much of a sports poster, but I'm pondering the structure of the college football playoff.

My theory is that the committee views rankings as imperfect and are willing to manipulate them to create more interesting stories. So one question is which stories are interesting?

I'm speaking about Seattle DSA, Boycott War Profiteers campaign at Bellevue College today. It's a real privilege to speak at an alma mater. I even bumped into one of my former professors!

Thanks to Students for Justice for the invitation!

I'm looking forward to the first Eastside Seattle DSA meeting I've attended in a long time today.

Last time I helped out with something on the Eastside it was for PSE to PUD which feels very fitting given the situation people have been in for the past couple of days.

Well, I finally decided to start an account here. It reminds me of 2013 Twitter. I didn't really use twitter back then it just sort of existed in the background. Glad I was able to claim my usual username though.
