He also seems to not understand that “they” are also Americans, and that blue states generate more tax revenue than red states do.
As a new lawyer I had to research what the IRS could do to a renowned peace activist who had been escrowing his federal taxes for years rather than support a war.

One more thing — each federal judicial district has its own U.S. Attorney.

EDVA is the Eastern District of Virginia. I believe Virginia has two federal judicial districts — Eastern and Western.

Don’t underestimate the number of lawyers who are working pro bono, including some of my relatives who have been working for free on redistricting cases.

Earth to the orange guy: Nobody — and I mean nobody — wants to negotiate their own health insurance. We want medical care when we need it, and we don’t want to become financially insecure or even bankrupt because of unforeseen medical costs. Period.

Admittedly, I don’t wear makeup. But to me, both people in this photo hardly look human. And Trump’s hair has gotten extra-weird.

I agree, but I think she actually married an amoral social climbing chameleon, and that’s what she got. He wasn’t in his white supremacist mode then.

Marriages can be complicated. Still, as he has reached for more and more power, he exudes regret that he married someone whose skin color is not acceptable to a large portion of the Republican base. I have wondered for a year how her self respect and his cringe-worthy MAGA-ness can survive together.

Anna Bower has at least four times the intelligence of Lindsey Halligan, plus Bower has integrity whereas Halligan has none. Halligan could not have chosen a less maleable victim to bully had she tried.

By law, the president is the commander of the DC National Guard and has much more leeway in what he can do with them. His use of the armed forces is illegal, however.

I share your outrage at the use of soldiers against Americans, but Posse Comitatus does not technically apply to the DC National Guard — just to the states.
