I hope there is an end to the conflict soon, that the living hostages and the bodies of the hostages who were killed during their imprisonment can return home to their families.
And I hope there can be a lasting peace in the region.

I am horrified, even two years later, about how people continue to celebrate what happened on October 7th or try to minimize it or flat out deny what happened.

And as horrified as I was about all the videos and images coming out that day, which turned out to be the deadliest days for Jews since the Holocaust, I was equally if not more horrified by all the tweets and reactions I saw from people gleefully celebrating the slaughter.

I will never forget the image of Shani Louk’s broken, near naked body being paraded around on the back of a pickup truck.
I will never forget the footage of an Israeli woman, her pants soaked in blood (showing obvious signs of a sexual assault) being forced into a vehicle

🧵 Two years ago today, I was in a hotel room in Chicago when I started getting news alerts about an attack unfolding in Israel.
As I scrolled through social media and checked telegram, I was horrified by the footage coming out, most of it shot by Hamas themselves
